How to build a social media tribe

Marketers love social media (ooh, especially the political infighting and cat gifs). In fact, 83 percent of them do, making creating a social community a primary tactic for B2B marketing. So, why is it that many B2B companies have such shocking social media channels? It’s harder for B2B companies to stand out on social media, that much is true. B2B marketing is always going to be more complicated than consumer marketing, so differentiation isn’t easy to find. Sure, companies can create cool campaigns on social media and put out the occasional contest, but then it’s the same marketing spiel as every other day. More likely than not, companies have little passion for their social channels. However, don’t let the numbers fool you. Just because a business has a low social presence doesn’t mean they’re on Facebook or have no Twitter.

Building Content:

Your content is your foundation. From there, you can share it across all social media channels and build upon it to create new content. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

  • An e-book: can generate multiple blog posts, social media updates, and even a video or podcast. It’s also a great time to brainstorm for your next book and establish a blueprint for the content.
  • Pitch Your Pitch: If you can prove your content can add value, people will gravitate toward it. Provide them with facts that drive new product sales. And then pitch how you can be of service to them. People crave to be in the know. The better your content adds to a person’s day, the more receptive they will be to your pitch.
  • The Forum: Mention your presence on various forums.

Engagement builds brand awareness, extends the marketing reach and it also offers social proof for your business. If someone visiting a social media site sees a high level of activity from their audience, they’re likely to want to know more. It also increases the likelihood of encouraging brand evangelists into the fold.

Influencer marketing is a version of the social media marketing that uses endorsements and product/service mentions from influencers. These are people who have a dedicated social media following and are seen as experts within their field.

Influencers have built a huge amount of trust with their audience. A nod from one of them delivers social proof to prospective clients for a business. 89 per cent of millennials trust recommendations from their friends and family more than claims by a brand.

There is no magic formula for social media success. You probably know that. But, there is a way to create a really effective social media for a business strategy that – with a little time and patience – can build a community of like-minded people, prospects and exciting growth opportunities.

Corona control strategy

The kind of Corona situation which we saw in Europe and Africa during the first wave is witnessed in India now. It is highly disturbing to see patients being treated in ambulances due to a lack of beds in hospitals. It speaks about the speed of covid surge and the inadequacy of medical infrastructure. Queues in burning ghats and crematoriums present a distressing scene. Causes of surge: The second wave surge is the result of improper conduct of people due to ignorance, religious bigotry and poverty. People are not following the Corona guidelines viz. masking, social distancing and hand hygiene thereby facilitating the spread in the community as they do not take the advice in the media seriously. Vaccination: Vaccination is given to protect the individual as well as to raise the herd immunity in the community. When herd immunity level is raised to a certain level, say 80-90%, the unvaccinated remaining susceptible population may be protected from the infection. This is normally th...

Where History and Diversity Co-exist in Delhi

We’ve all often heard stories from our grandparents about India’s independence and how they lived back then. I think these are our grandparent’s favorite stories of all times. When I hear their stories, I’m filled with an unparalleled sense of pride. These stories have always made me wonder if today’s generation could survive in similar conditions.   Delhi   has been the the epicenter of the nation's politics, economy and culture. It is one of the longest serving capitals and one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. It all started in the Mughal era and went on till India became an independent Nation in 1947 after a long freedom struggle led largely by The Indian National Congress and its visionary leaders. History is alive and throbbing in Delhi! Delhi Then and Now   Delhi is a land of mixed cultures and has a strong historical background. Before independence, there was political turmoil in Delhi for over five centuries. It was ruled by ...
