Exploitation due to Coronavirus

India is facing the peak of the second wave of corona-virus. The brutality of this virus is witnessed by looking at the increased death rates. There is nothing like symptoms left to recognize the type of infection in the body of the patient.

At few cases, nothing is found in the person, but he/ she died of cardiac arrest. After the check-up of their dead bodies by the concerned person, the report stated that the virus infected his/her lungs around 90% leaving the little space which made them die due to lack of oxygen transmission in the other supporting organs.

In the year 2020, the corona warriors were given utmost respect for their dedication, selflessness and serving but in the year 2021, the warriors became the most negligent ones. The ones who should have come to help the patients for testing, they are behaving lethargic either by not coming to collect samples or by giving reasons of shortage of testing kits. The limit of negligence reached at its peak when, shortage of oxygen came into picture. How is it possible that the patient who was recovering at night, was found dead in the morning? My friend’s relative’s oxygen level was increased at and came to normal with the help of oxygen cylinder which was given to him in the hospital, but when the family visited him next morning in the hospital, he was found dead. Is this even possible, for a recovering person to die that too in few hours? No, there are some fraudulent activities going on backstage, which are letting people to die.

Saudi Arabia came forward to help their friend country by providing 80 metric tonnes of oxygen cylinders, especially for the section of the society, who are not able to help themselves. But Indians being greedy for money made this pandemic a business. Economics is applicable in our daily lives, as per the study, the study of demand and supply is basic. Since, this corona situation increased the demand for medical oxygen, the price of oxygen also increased. At the time of crisis where people need each other’s support and care, the merciless are creating it a business.

There is limited data about the hospitals and their supply chain but the situation in the country is becoming worse. To protect the people we love, to safeguard the country from turning its healthy present into vintage, everyone needs to work together and help each other.

Stay safe, keep helping and stop exploiting the country.

Corona control strategy

The kind of Corona situation which we saw in Europe and Africa during the first wave is witnessed in India now. It is highly disturbing to see patients being treated in ambulances due to a lack of beds in hospitals. It speaks about the speed of covid surge and the inadequacy of medical infrastructure. Queues in burning ghats and crematoriums present a distressing scene. Causes of surge: The second wave surge is the result of improper conduct of people due to ignorance, religious bigotry and poverty. People are not following the Corona guidelines viz. masking, social distancing and hand hygiene thereby facilitating the spread in the community as they do not take the advice in the media seriously. Vaccination: Vaccination is given to protect the individual as well as to raise the herd immunity in the community. When herd immunity level is raised to a certain level, say 80-90%, the unvaccinated remaining susceptible population may be protected from the infection. This is normally th...

Where History and Diversity Co-exist in Delhi

We’ve all often heard stories from our grandparents about India’s independence and how they lived back then. I think these are our grandparent’s favorite stories of all times. When I hear their stories, I’m filled with an unparalleled sense of pride. These stories have always made me wonder if today’s generation could survive in similar conditions.   Delhi   has been the the epicenter of the nation's politics, economy and culture. It is one of the longest serving capitals and one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. It all started in the Mughal era and went on till India became an independent Nation in 1947 after a long freedom struggle led largely by The Indian National Congress and its visionary leaders. History is alive and throbbing in Delhi! Delhi Then and Now   Delhi is a land of mixed cultures and has a strong historical background. Before independence, there was political turmoil in Delhi for over five centuries. It was ruled by ...
